PATHOS

Project SilverArrow is an application, inspired by the Greek goddess Artemis, that reduces the attack surface and guards the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of users data from invasive Cookies and Trackers.

In Greek Mythology, the goddess, Artemis, symbolizes “defense, stealth, and safeguarding the vulnerable.” Her signature weapon is the bow and arrows. They symbolize her prowess as the goddess of the hunt and her role as a protector of the wild and the vulnerable.

LOGOS

SilverArrow is a privacy-focused Chrome extension designed to be the users Metator, a messenger, and tactful measurer, whom provides guidance, and stronger control over how websites track, store, and reuse their data. Built as part of an ongoing cybersecurity research initiative by Project Research LLC, Project SilverArrow focuses on reducing real-world web threats at the browser level—without requiring users to be security experts.

At a technical level, SilverArrow actively identifies and blocks persistent tracking mechanisms, including long-lived cookies and cross-site trackers that follow users across the web. By limiting how session data is stored and reused, the extension helps reduce exposure to attacks such as session hijacking and on-path interception attempts, where attackers try to steal or replay authentication cookies to gain unauthorized access. It also minimizes unnecessary data retention, lowering the overall attack surface available to malicious actors.
